Ruth Mwagalwa

She is the Director of Open Door Missions International which is a charity formed in the UK to give a door of hope Hos 2:15, provide a door of opportunity 2 Cor 2:12, and open a door of revelation Rev 4:1. It also operates as a non-profit organisation in the USA administered by Lee and Donna Norris in North Carolina.

Since it's inception O.D.M.I has helped to sponsor a ministry to poor village people in the East of Uganda. Over sixteen years the work has grown from eleven village churches with 3,000 members to over 500 churches with 80,000 men, women and children. A pig farm has been established and in 2004 a large cinema building was purchased to provide a centre from which Ugandan Pentecostal Outreach Ministries can operate.

Open Door Missions seeks to help the Christians in Africa to help themselves. Teams preach the gospel and many are saved, but also it is believed that dignity and a clean lifestyle are important. So encouragement is given to the indigenous peoples to become self- sufficient. Projects are financed to help them get started and then they must become self sustaining.

At present O.D.M.I is working with Rev. Ruth Mwagalwa who runs Widows Intercessors Ministry in Kampala, the capital of Uganda. This is a work to help destitute widows come to Christ and receive all that He has for them. God is bringing restoration, joy, healing and deliverance to the poor. Christine also takes literally the words of Jesus in Matt 25:31-46. When she was fifteen she heard Mother Theresa read these words and she has never forgotten them.

O.D.M.I is together in partnership with Rev. Ruth and W.I.M. Much help is needed to fulfil the vision. Widows Intercessors Ministry need MORE PARTNERS to sponsor this work of God.
